Our beloved Raul Garcia, 88, of Newark, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Edison, N.J. Raul was born in Seixal da Lourinha, Portugal, and lived in Newark, NJ. Raul was the beloved husband of Lucilia Garcia, whom he adored. He was the devoted father of Luci Ramalho, Teresinha Viana and Tony Garcia, father-in-law to Manuel Ramalho, Tony Viana, and Gena Cunha Garcia and loving grandfather of Manny Ramalho, Debbie Rouse, Dawn Salzano, Erica McDonald, Jessica Viana, Tony Garcia Jr. and Sydney Garcia. Great grandfather to Christian J., and Katie Ramalho. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association in his memory would be appreciated. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the viewing at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield, N.J. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Helen's Church, Westfield, N.J. on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, N.J.
