Ruth L. Van Benschoten age 93 died on Monday Feburary 22, 2010 in Easton , PA.
Born in Irvington, NJ, she moved in Westfield in 1946. Two years ago moving to Easton, PA.
Member of Council #97 Daughters of America. Volunteered at Childrens Specialized Hospital. Member of (RSVP) Retired Senior Volunteer People. Member of Women's Auxillary of Union County. Also a member of American Legion Post # 3.
She is pre deceased by her husband, Elmer F. Van Benschoten (1972). Surviving are her sons, Richard G., and Robert F. . Also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 PM at the Gray Funeral Home 318 E. Broad St. Westfield. Funeral Services willl be 10 am Friday morning at the funeral home. Interment private.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Westfield Rescue Squad.
