Janet E. Knudsen age 96 passed away on Sunday January 3, 2010 at her residence in Cranford.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Cranford since 1962.
Janet was an office worker for Boyle Midway Company in Cranford for 10 years retiring in 1966.
She was a member of the Wednesday Morning Early Birds Bowling League in Linden. Member of Friendship Club of Westfield. Member Oak Ridge Golf Association. Member of Roselle Park Bridge Club. She was an avid card player.
She is pre deceased by her husband Frank sho died in 1993, and a son Robert. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Morrell, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation wil be on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave, Cranford. Funeral services 10 AM Friday January 8, 2010 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society.
